SAFMC, MAFMC and PFMAC fishing closures
I was just above the most recent information from South Atlantic fishery management Council. ? The SAFMC, headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, is one of eight regional boards of fishing in the United States. They are responsible for the conservation and management of stocks of the federal limit of 200 miles offshore from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and East Florida to Key West.
Literally all species of grouper and Red Snapper are closed to fishing any ? mere season is scheduled to reopen in April ? Red snapper is closed indefinitely.
Now I see that they are meeting more "public input" to look at regular Dolphin (mahi mahi), wahoo and cobia.
If close season on thesis fish well let most fishermen to try even fish. ? that will continue to be seeking a closing down lower fisheries in an area from Cape Canaveral, Florida northward to Georgia.

North Carolina MFC votes to continue killing fish
Evidence of the Committee on Fisheries meeting Navy North Carolina ignored of low sacrifice streaked by trawlers and February, in my view, bias toward commercial fishing, voted to leave the trade industry of the trawler alone.
This is a joke in my mind that would ignore documented occurrences of huge striped bass kills fish due to the activity of the apparent trawler.
North Carolina still shows the extreme bias toward commercial fishing - industry once again my opinion - ? and has some of the most liberal rules of any State to fish commercially.

North Carolina MFC Votes to Continue Fish Slaughter
At its February meeting the North Carolina Marine Fisheries Commission ignored evidence of striped bass slaughter by trawlers and with its, in my opinion, bias toward commercial fishing, voted to leave the trawler commercial industry alone.
This is a travesty in my mind that they would ignore documented occurrences of huge striped bass fish kills because of apparent trawler activity.
North Carolina continues to show extreme bias toward the commercial fishing industry - once again my opinion -? and has some of the most liberal rules of any state for taking fish commercially.

I was just going over the latest information from the South Atlantic Fisheries Management Council.? Closed season under the Black Sea in the South Atlantic
If they fished offshore North Carolina to the Florida Keys this week past and captured any black sea bass, they were fortunate. ?, but you do not plan to do South Atlantic fishery management Council (SAFMC) has done it once more - this time of closing, effective February 12, season low of the Black Sea until 1 June this year. ? applies to the Federal waters of 3 to 200 miles off the coast of again. ?.
Here is the situation in my back yard now: ? closed all harvest are spotted corvina, all varieties of grouper, snapper vermilion, snook and snapper ? red trip to offshore means burning much fuel and literally no fish to bring to the table.
Following close on the heels of all this are the pending changes from the SAFMC within bag and seasons for Dolphin (mahi mahi), wahoo and cobia.
Anti-fishing people and environmentalists are quietly from all this as a victory in his efforts to totally eliminate fishing in any form. ? If sit and regretted the situation without contact with their legislative staff to express their outrage, their fishing rights will be slowly and completely finished before their eyes.

North Carolina's CCA seeks end to bottom trawling
In response to a rash of massive deaths striped bass along the coast, North Carolina in the CCA asked the Committee on fisheries marine CN (MFC) to eliminate trawling of any kind as an art of allowable fishing for striped bass. Incidents, photographed and recorded on video by sports fishermen in the area, were the result of business operations of trawls in waters of the State and the outrage has been up and down the East Coast. North Carolina's CCA requested decisive action at the meeting of MFC in mounds of pine, 10 and 11 February
